Let's talk about Boundaries!
Updated: Mar 10

Hey there! Let's talk about something that's really important for any relationship - boundaries. Boundaries are the limits we set for ourselves in terms of what we are and are not willing to tolerate in our relationships. And while setting boundaries might seem like a no-brainer, the truth is that many people struggle with it, and that can be a major issue in relationships. If you find yourself always saying "yes" to your partner's demands, even if they're unreasonable or infringe on your personal space or time, that could be a sign that you're struggling with boundaries. This can lead to feelings of resentment, frustration, and anger, which can really damage a relationship over time.
It's not all doom and gloom... But the good news is that setting healthy boundaries is something that you can learn. It takes some practice, but it's totally worth it. Some things you can do to set better boundaries include:
Taking the time to figure out what your own needs and values are, and what you are and are not willing to tolerate in your relationships.
Being clear and assertive when you communicate your boundaries to your partner, but also being willing to listen to their perspective.
Sticking to your boundaries consistently, and not compromising your own values or needs just to make the relationship work.
If you're struggling, seeking support from a hypnotherapist who can help you by working with your subconscious mind to change the limiting beliefs about yourself and develop the skills and confidence you need to set healthy boundaries.
The bottom line is that setting boundaries is a key part of any healthy relationship. So take the time to figure out what your own boundaries are, and then communicate them clearly and confidently using You'll be amazed at how much better you feel, and how much stronger your relationships can be, when you're standing up for yourself and your own needs.
